Greetings!

Thank you for visiting the official site of SCH Creative & Performing Arts. I am honored to be the founder and president. We have had the privilege of blessing hundreds of children in the city of Philadelphia since we have started programming in 2012 through our after school programs, our school tours and our FLY star program. We aim to continue to empower youth via the arts and give them a positive outlet and we can do that with your help.

Thanks again for visiting our website. We hope that you will return frequently to obtain information with regards to our upcoming events.

Yours in service,

Suzann Christine Henry

Suzann Henry aka Suzann Christine

While working full-time at Vanguard as a Registered Representative, Suzann Christine Henry wanted to make a positive difference in the community by developing a program that could empower and educate adolescents about the fine arts.

Suzann has always had an interest in the Performing Arts and working with the youth because she knew first hand how much of a positive impact the arts has on building self-esteem and confidence in youth. Growing up she participated in many programs for the Arts in the city of Philadelphia including, the Young Performers Theatre Camp, The All-City Choir of Philadelphia, and the City of Philadelphia’s Art Summer Camp. In college she volunteered as a mentor and advisor of the Eastern Guilford High School Step Team and the Heart of the Matter Program in North Carolina. Post college she volunteered as Treasurer for the Grace chapter of Teenshop Inc., mentored and worked as a mentor/ teacher for the Universal Companies Pearls of Wisdom program and mentored at Influence Action Movement. Suzann currently serves as Governor for the Recording Academy (Grammy) Philadelphia Chapter and has been awarded two citations from the city of Philadelphia and the State of Pennsylvania for Civic Engagement and Community Service.

Suzann's music has been winning the hearts and ears of thousands within her hometown of Philadelphia and throughout the country with her single "Falling Tears" which received national airplay on Sirius XM, Shade 45, Music Choice, BET Jams, Hot 97, 100.3 WRNB and more. Falling Tears also landed number 3 on the Italy R&B charts.

Suzann Christine has also been named Best R&B/Pop Artist in 2012, 2017, and 2018 for the Philly Hip Hop Awards, Best Independent Singer for the Tri-State Awards 2022, and Best Female Performer 2023. She sang background for Patti Labelle and has shared bills with some of your favorite R&B, Soul, and Hip Hop Artist such as Frankie Beverly and Maze, Mary J. Blige, Keyshia Cole, PNB Rock, Baby Face, Kindred The Family Soul, Miki Howard and more.

In June of 2010, Suzann founded and incorporated SCH Creative & Performing Arts, Inc., to educate adolescents on how to maximize their artistry. She felt the need to give back to her community through something that was dear to her heart. Forming this organization was one way to keep children involved in something positive and it would allow children to build self-confidence and self-esteem. Suzann’s hope and prayer is to reach out and empower as many children in the Philadelphia area as possible, who have an interest in something creative and that they will be able to reach their full potential in their creativity.
